The Design Factor: Challenge #6

Yes, this is the last week on the Design Factor, so here is my final installment!

'Pickles & Icecream' - What did you crave if you have been pregnant? I didn't go for the pickles, but I certainly ate more than my fair share of icecream !! I don't think I craved anything particularly weird, but I did experience the incredible urge of having to have what I felt like eating!

We had to use one of 2 colors in our color scheme (cream or brown), have our own doodles on 2 papers, and it had to be about food, but the rest was up to us. I drew the pickles, icecream, birdie, words on one of the papers.

The Design Factor: Challenge #5

This week's challenge for the Design Factor was indeed very challenging for me! We had to use only other designer's CU and focus on our re-coloring skills. We were given difficult color swatches to work with as well. My mini is called Babycakes and will eventually be a kit for baby showers and new baby boys

The Design Factor: Challenge #4

This is my Challenge #4 entry for the Design Factor! We had to pick a shape (make it ourselves), include it in 3 patterned papers and somehow incorporate it into 5 unique elements. We also had to make an alpha (a-z) that used the shape in some way. The only CU I used was the font (good ol' Arial) - everything else was either photographed, extracted or designed by me. It was quite challenging & time-consuming, but I'm really excited about expanding it into a full Collection in the coming weeks! Keep your eyes peeled !

Pigs Might Fly!!

A funny and cute kit perfect for the hilarious stories our kids (big & small) tell us sometimes! Also great for everyday projects involving kids. Although there is some piggy-pink in this kit, there are also plenty of gender-neutral colors, making this kit suitable for both girls and boys!

The Design Factor: Challenge #3

This week we had to use a monochromatic color scheme and add a small amount of color to make it 'pop'. I really enjoyed this challenge, and plan on expanding this kit to a full-sized Collection once the competition is over, with more 'summery' elements and 'pops' of all 5 colors!
